Constellation has developed an implementation methodology which recognizes the need for an individualized approach to going online with DAMION. The StarPath program provides guidance and implementation assistance to clients that starts with the initial kick-off meeting and continues through the "go-live" stage.
Constellation's objective is to provide the technical support and services, advice and training to ensure a successful implementation of the DAMION system at the customer's office. The end goal is for the customer's user base to be fully conversant with the application and capable of performing all system administration tasks including ad hoc report design, document template development, security support, system backup, and basic database administration.
The StarPath program constitutes a variety of activities that are structured to prepare the customer for the full use of the DAMION system. The program assigns responsibilities to key personnel from the customer's user base and from Constellation that will coordinate the tasks needed to enable the system. The main steps in StarPath are as follows:
